Riley Stewart was born in Stockholm, Saskatchewan. He studied photography for several years until he earned his degree in design. When he was 28 he moved along with his Husband, to Toronto where they currently reside. Riley has shot editorials for magazines such as Fucking Young, ELLE, FASHION, Glow, Globe and Mail Style Advisor, Contributor Magazine, Chatelaine, Schön Magazine, The Kit, Wedding Bells, Sharp Magazine, Jón Magazine, EnRoute, DTK Men, Xtra, the Grid and Harry Magazine. His advertising clients have included Holt Renfrew, Hudson’s Bay Company, Harry Rosen, Shoppers Drug Mart, Boots No.7, Lord and Taylor, Comrags, Line Knitwear, Patrick Assaraf, Jenny Bird, Lida Baday, Honey Stores, The Detox Market, The Face Shop, University of Toronto and The Munk School of Global Affairs. In 2013 he was one of the selected photographers for publication in the Magenta Flash Forward book and most recently recieved a 2017 National Magazine Award.
